TLC Engineering Inc. was subcontracted to provide structural engineering and construction management services to assist Beck Disaster Recovery, Inc. in its efforts to elevate homes above the base flood elevation (BFE), which coincides with coastal flooding zones V and A. This study aimed to determine the best construction method for elevating these homes and the associated costs. The study provided the costs of each solution in terms of the foundation and elevation method selected to enable a Cost-Benefit Analysis.
