TLC Engineering, Inc. was selected by OST/Almeda Corridors Redevelopment (TIRZ #7) to provide Construction Management and Inspections Services for the Historic Dowling Street Reconstruction Project, which is located in the Historical Upper Third Ward area of Houston, Texas. This work includes approximately 1415 linear feet of roadway reconstruction of Dowling Street from just north of Elgin Street to Dennis Street. Scope of work includes but is not limited to the construction of reinforced concrete curb, gutter pavement, sidewalks, wheelchair ramps, driveways, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water lines,landscaping, including bio-swales, rain gardens, sodding, and tree planting and protection and coordination with all utility owners and governing agencies. This work also includes construction of two storm sewersthat extend beyond the pavement reconstruction limits: the first extends south from the southern limit to an existing storm manhole in the Elgin Street intersection, and the second extends north from the northern limit to a proposed storm manhole at the McGowen Street intersection.
